Wide Clip-Point Blade

The Double Safe Hunter features a broad clip-point blade with a defined tip and generous cutting belly. This profile provides useful versatility for slicing, trimming, opening packaging, cutting cordage and performing controlled hunting-related tasks.

The approximately 3 mm blade thickness provides a practical balance between cutting efficiency and structural strength.

8Cr13MoV Stainless Steel

The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, a reliable working steel commonly used in practical outdoor and utility knives.

It offers a useful combination of toughness, corrosion resistance, edge retention and straightforward sharpening. The steel can be restored to a working edge using commonly available sharpening equipment.

Although stainless, the blade should still be cleaned and dried after exposure to moisture, blood, food residue, sap, salt or acidic materials.

57–58 HRC Blade Hardness

The blade is tempered to approximately 57–58 Rockwell C. This hardness range is intended to provide a practical balance between edge retention and toughness for general working use.

Actual cutting performance depends on sharpening angle, edge condition, cutting technique and the materials being cut.

Rocker Lock with Secondary Safety

The Double Safe Hunter uses a rocker-style locking mechanism to secure the blade in the open position during normal use.

An additional secondary safety can be engaged to increase resistance to accidental lock release under shock or impact. This provides an extra level of security during demanding utility tasks.

No folding-knife lock is completely failure-proof. Always confirm that the primary lock and secondary safety are correctly engaged before cutting, and never place fingers in the blade’s closing path.

Steel Pocket Clip
