We are excited to introduce the Fallkniven CC4, a combination ceramic/ceramic whetstone designed to handle your finest sharpening needs. This innovative sharpening tool consists of two types of ceramic stones: a super fine ceramic stone (white side) and a ceramic stone made of synthetic sapphires (dark grey). Perfect for achieving razor-sharp edges on your blades.

The CC4 requires no lubrication, making it incredibly easy to use. However, occasional cleaning with water and liquid soap is recommended to maintain its performance. A leather pouch is included for secure storage and portability.

How to Use Your Whetstone

If your knife is dull, start with a diamond stone to restore the edge's shape. Then, de-burr the edge lightly using the grey side of the CC4 ceramic stone for a razor-sharp edge. The white side is ideal for polishing. No oil or water is needed.

To use, lay the blade flat on the stone, raise the spine to approximately the blade's thickness, and move the knife in circular motions. The ink trick can help monitor progress: color the edge with a felt-tip pen, and observe where the color is removed during sharpening.
