Berghaus Tactical Pugio 28 Daypack – Coyote Tan
Description
Berghaus Tactical Pugio 28 Daypack – Coyote Tan
Berghaus Tactical Pugio 28 is a structured 28-litre backpack for professional, outdoor and everyday equipment carriage. Padded walls and an internal nylon frame help the main compartment retain its box-like shape, providing a clear view of the contents when opened.
The loop-lined interior accepts compatible hook-backed organiser pouches, while the shaped shoulder harness, adjustable sternum strap and stowable hip belt provide several options for stabilising the load. The pack is made from durable 500D polyamide double-ripstop fabric in Coyote Tan.

Structured and Modular Main Compartment
The combination of padded sides and an internal frame supports the walls while the pack is open. Equipment can therefore be viewed and arranged without the compartment collapsing around it.
Soft loop surfaces inside the pack accept compatible organiser pouches for tools, electronics, medical supplies, communications equipment or personal items. The separately available Pugio 2 Hip Belt Pack can also be attached inside and removed when required.
Internal pouches and the Pugio 2 accessory are not included unless expressly stated by the retailer.
Carrying System with Stowable Hip Belt
The wide shoulder harness is designed to sit closely around the upper body. An elasticated, height-adjustable sternum strap stabilises the shoulder straps while allowing limited movement during active use.
The included hip belt uses a Berghaus Berg buckle and helps control the pack around the waist. When it is not required, both sides of the belt can be tucked into the garage at the base of the back panel, keeping them from hanging loose during lighter or urban use.
Secondary Storage and Attachment
The lid and front pocket separate smaller items from the main load, while two zipped side pockets keep frequently used equipment accessible. Elastic lacing on the front can retain lightweight, soft items such as gloves or a compact outer layer.
A front hook-and-loop panel accepts suitable identification or morale patches. The Pugio 28 does not feature an external MOLLE/PALS webbing system.
Hydration-System Preparation
An internal hanger allows a compatible hydration reservoir of up to approximately 3 litres to be suspended inside the pack. The reservoir, drinking tube and bite valve are not included.
Check the reservoir for leakage before packing and keep electronics or documents in separate waterproof protection.
500D Double-Ripstop Polyamide
The backpack is manufactured from 500D polyamide double ripstop. Reinforcement threads woven in two directions help limit the spread of small tears while retaining a practical weight for a framed 28-litre pack.
No waterproof rating is specified. The material should therefore be treated as weather resistant rather than waterproof, with sensitive contents protected in waterproof inner bags during rain.
