Two elastic side pockets provide quick access to bottles or similar equipment, while a zipped pocket on one hip fin keeps compact essentials within reach.
Elastic zigzag lacing on the lid can hold light, soft items such as gloves or a thin outer layer. Hiking poles have a dedicated fixation point, and side and base compression help stabilise a partially filled pack.
Modular MOLLE-Compatible System
The modular front panel, side MOLLE webbing and attachment points on one hip fin accept compatible accessory pouches. Options include Tatonka Universal Pouches 3032, 3033, 3034 and 3035, as well as suitably sized MOLLE pouches from other manufacturers.
External equipment must be secured firmly and positioned so that it does not interfere with balance, movement or access. Dense and heavy items should generally be packed close to the back inside the main compartment.
Hydration and Weather Protection
The backpack is prepared for a compatible hydration reservoir and includes a drinking-tube outlet. The hydration system itself is not included unless stated separately by the retailer.
A PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish helps the outer fabric repel light moisture and dirt. An olive-coloured rain cover is included for additional protection during wet weather. The complete backpack is not watertight, so electronics, documents and other moisture-sensitive items should be stored in waterproof inner bags.
Durable Polyamide Fabrics
CORDURA® 500 den is used for the principal outer areas and the base. This high-strength, air-textured nylon 6.6 fabric offers lasting resistance to abrasion and tearing.
420 HD Nylon FD is a high-density 420-denier polyamide fabric with a matt surface and triple polyurethane coating. The coated fabric itself is waterproof, but seams, zips and openings prevent the complete backpack from being considered waterproof.
