Berghaus Tactical Pugio 20 Daypack – Coyote Tan
Description
Berghaus Tactical Pugio 20 Daypack – Coyote Tan
Berghaus Tactical Pugio 20 is a compact 20-litre pack combining a discreet exterior with a modular tactical interior. Padded walls and an internal nylon frame give the backpack a structured shape, helping the main compartment remain open and accessible while equipment is organised.
Loop fabric inside the compartment accepts compatible hook-and-loop pouches, including the separately available Pugio 2 Hip Belt Pack. A padded back, curved shoulder harness and adjustable elasticated sternum strap provide a close, stable fit for everyday, professional and outdoor use.

Structured Modular Interior
The internal frame and padded sides help the backpack retain its box-like shape when opened. This provides a clear view of the contents and makes it easier to add, remove or rearrange compatible organiser pouches.
The loop-lined interior supports individual configurations for tools, electronics, medical supplies, communications equipment or everyday items. Organiser pouches are not included unless specifically stated by the retailer.
Compact Carrying System
The shaped shoulder straps are padded and designed to sit closely around the upper body. A height-adjustable sternum strap helps stabilise the pack, while its elastic section allows limited movement during active use.
The padded back panel incorporates a central channel to support airflow. An internal nylon frame adds structure and helps prevent irregular equipment from pressing directly against the wearer.
The Pugio 20 does not include a load-bearing hip belt. The hip-belt garage and Berg-buckle waist belt described for larger Pugio models apply only to the Pugio 28 and Pugio 42.
External Storage and Attachment
Two zipped side pockets provide quick access to smaller equipment. The lid incorporates inner and outer storage areas, while removable elastic lacing on the front can retain a light jacket, gloves or similarly soft items.
A front hook-and-loop panel accepts compatible identification or morale patches. The Pugio 20 does not use an external MOLLE/PALS webbing system.
Hydration-System Preparation
An internal hanger can support a compatible hydration reservoir with a capacity of up to approximately 3 litres. The reservoir, drinking tube and bite valve are not included.
Confirm that the selected reservoir fits without overstressing the internal hanger or interfering with the zip. Any leakage-sensitive contents should be stored separately.
500D Double-Ripstop Polyamide
The backpack is made from 500D polyamide double ripstop. Reinforcement threads woven in two directions help restrict the spread of small tears while retaining a practical weight for everyday and field use.
No waterproof rating is specified. Electronics, documents and other moisture-sensitive equipment should be protected in waterproof inner bags during wet conditions.
