The Tasmanian Tiger Medic Platoon Pack is a large, highly configurable medical backpack developed for organised medical care in military field hospitals and demanding field environments. It provides a total capacity of 57 litres, divided between a 52-litre main compartment and a 5-litre removable lid compartment.

The main compartment opens completely for fast access to medical equipment and can be suspended vertically, allowing personnel to remove supplies directly from the organised interior. 57-Litre Capacity

The Medic Platoon Pack provides a total capacity of 57 litres. The main compartment offers approximately 52 litres, while the removable lid provides an additional 5-litre storage compartment.

This capacity is suitable for carrying a substantial, carefully organised medical load. The final configuration and contents should always be selected by appropriately trained personnel according to the intended medical role, operational procedures and applicable regulations.

Fully Opening Main Compartment

The main compartment can be opened completely, providing a clear view of the stored equipment and allowing supplies to be reached without unpacking the entire backpack.

The pack can also be suspended in an open position. This allows it to function as an organised mobile supply station in a treatment area, vehicle, tent or field hospital.

Eight Transparent Medical Pouches Included

The backpack includes eight transparent pouches made from 420 HD Nylon. They attach inside the main compartment using hook-and-loop fasteners and allow stored items to be identified without opening every pouch.

The pouches can be positioned according to the user’s preferred organisation system and removed individually when required.

Modular Internal Organisation

Internal MOLLE hook-and-loop surfaces provide extensive configuration options. Compatible pouches, organisers and hook-backed accessories can be positioned according to the intended medical function.

V2 Plus Carrying System

Removable Warrior Belt

The padded hip belt can be detached from the backpack and used separately as a Warrior Belt. Compatible equipment may therefore be transferred to or carried on the belt independently of the main pack.

When attached to the backpack, the hip belt helps transfer part of the load from the shoulders to the hips.

Height-Adjustable Removable Lid

The lid is height adjustable, allowing the backpack to accommodate different load volumes. It can also be removed when the additional lid compartment is not required.

The integrated lid pocket provides accessible storage for items that may need to be reached without opening the main compartment.

External MOLLE System

The front and sides feature MOLLE webbing for attaching compatible pouches and equipment.

Antenna Ports

Ports provide access from the exterior into the main compartment for routing compatible antennas or communication cables.

The antenna ports do not confirm compatibility with any particular radio, antenna or electronic system.

CORDURA® 700 Den Main Fabric

The main backpack fabric is CORDURA® 700 den, made from 100% polyamide. This material combines the high wear and tear resistance associated with heavier 1000-denier fabric with a lower weight closer to that of 500-denier fabric.

It is well suited to professional equipment that may be exposed to repeated transport, abrasion and demanding field use.

420 HD Nylon FD

Selected components and the included transparent pouches use 420 HD Nylon FD, also made from 100% polyamide.

The high-density 420-denier yarn provides strong tensile performance, while the Full-Dull yarn gives the material a matte surface. The fabric has a triple polyurethane coating that provides waterproof material properties.

The coated fabric does not necessarily make the complete backpack fully waterproof because water may still enter through openings, seams, zippers or attachment points.

PFC/PFAS-Free DWR Finish

The outer material has a durable water-repellent finish described by the manufacturer as PFC/PFAS-free. This treatment helps water bead and run off the fabric during light exposure.

A water-repellent finish is not the same as a completely waterproof pack. Sensitive contents should be additionally protected with suitable waterproof inner bags when required.
