Berghaus Tactical Pugio 2 Hip Belt Pack – Coyote Tan
Description
Berghaus Tactical Pugio 2 Hip Belt Pack – Coyote Tan
Berghaus Tactical Pugio 2 Hip Belt Pack is a compact 2-litre waist bag that can also serve as a removable internal organiser for Pugio-series backpacks. Its adjustable carrying belt can be detached, allowing the pouch’s rear hook-and-loop panel to connect to the loop-lined interior of the Pugio 20, Pugio 28 or Pugio 42.
The main body incorporates RFID-shielding material between the outer and inner fabrics. The separate front zipped pocket is not RFID shielded.

Two Carrying Configurations
With its belt fitted, the Pugio 2 functions as a compact waist pack for a phone, wallet, identification documents, keys and other small essentials. The strap can be adjusted for fit and detached when it is not required.
After removing the belt, the pouch can be pressed against the hook-and-loop lining inside a compatible Pugio backpack. This creates a removable organiser that can be repositioned or taken out and worn separately when leaving the main pack behind.
RFID-Shielded Main Body
A shielding layer between the outer and inner materials helps reduce unauthorised communication with compatible contactless cards and identity documents stored in the main compartment.
The front zipped pocket is not RFID shielded. Cards requiring protection must be placed fully inside the shielded main section and the compartment must be closed correctly.
RFID shielding is an additional precaution rather than a guarantee against every form of data theft. It does not protect magnetic stripes, visible card information, online accounts or devices using other communication technologies.
Compact Organisation
The two-way zipped main compartment provides space for frequently used personal or operational items. A smaller internal organiser helps separate compact objects, while the flat front pocket keeps items accessible without opening the main section.
Fabric loops on the sides provide additional attachment options for suitable lightweight accessories. Attached equipment must not obstruct the zip, interfere with the belt or create an unsafe snagging point.
500D Double-Ripstop Polyamide
The pouch is made from 500D polyamide double ripstop. Reinforcement threads woven in two directions help limit the spread of small tears while maintaining a practical weight for use as a removable organiser.
No waterproof rating is specified. Electronics, documents and other moisture-sensitive items should be placed in waterproof inner packaging during wet conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. It is a 2-litre waist pack and removable organiser. It is separate from the load-bearing hip belts fitted to the Pugio 28 and Pugio 42 backpacks.
Can it be used without a Pugio backpack?
Yes. With the adjustable belt attached, it functions as an independent waist pack.
Which Pugio backpacks can it attach to?
Its rear hook-and-loop panel is intended for the loop-lined interiors of the Pugio 20, Pugio 28 and Pugio 42.
Does the entire pouch provide RFID shielding?
No. The main body has an RFID-shielding layer, but the separate front zipped pocket does not.
Is the Pugio 2 waterproof?
