BUSHMEN EASY Tarp 2×3 Green

The BUSHMEN EASY Tarp 2×3 Green is a compact, lightweight and fully equipped shelter tarp designed for camping, hiking, bushcraft, hammock setups, bikepacking and outdoor travel. Made from waterproof 190T polyester with a water resistance rating of 3000 mm H₂O, it provides practical rain and wind protection in a simple, fast and convenient format.

The tarp measures approximately 2 × 2.9 m and includes 13 attachment loops: 12 loops around the edges and 1 loop positioned on the central reinforcing tape. 13 Attachment Loops

The EASY Tarp 2×3 includes 13 reinforced attachment loops: 12 positioned around the edges and 1 located on the central reinforcing tape. This gives the user flexibility for classic A-frame pitches, lean-to setups, hammock rain cover, windbreak configurations and improvised field shelters.

The U-shaped loops are reinforced for easier handling and improved durability. The centre loop and central tape are particularly useful when additional support or shape control is required.

Central Reinforcing Tape

A characteristic feature of BUSHMEN tarps is the reinforcing tape running through the centre of the tarp. This strengthens the structure and helps distribute tension along the main load line.

It also allows the tarp to be pitched without a traditional ridgeline in certain setups, depending on terrain, available anchor points and user experience.

6 Aluminium Y-Pegs

The set includes 6 lightweight aluminium Y-pegs. Each peg is approximately 18 cm long and has a Y-shaped cross-section for secure anchoring in many types of ground.

Each peg weighs approximately 12 g. The orange colour makes the pegs easier to find on grass, sand, forest floor or campsite ground.

6 Guylines with Tensioners

The included guylines are approximately 3 m long and are equipped with tensioners. This makes it easier to adjust tarp tension without tying complicated knots or using additional tools.

The long guylines provide flexibility when choosing attachment points and help adapt the tarp to uneven terrain, changing wind direction and different shelter configurations.

2 Elastic PRUSIK-PRO Loops

The set includes 2 elastic PRUSIK-PRO loops with hooks. These can be used to tension the tarp on a ridgeline or as dynamic attachment loops that help absorb movement and stress.

They can also be used creatively to attach the packed tarp to a backpack, bicycle frame or modular equipment, depending on the user’s setup.

10 m Cord

The included 10 m cord gives additional flexibility for ridgeline setups, extended anchor points or alternative pitching methods. This is especially useful when trees, rocks, poles or other attachment points are not perfectly positioned.

Transport Bag with Handles

All components are supplied in a spacious transport bag with handles. The bag is designed for easy packing, transport and storage, even when the tarp is not folded perfectly in the field.

The handles can also be used together with PRUSIK-PRO loops to attach and compress the packed tarp to MOLLE/PALS loops, backpacks, bike frames or other equipment systems.

Stress-Release Protection System

BUSHMEN designed the guyline tensioners and PRUSIK-PRO loops to help absorb stress during use. If forces exceed safe limits, the lines or elastic loops may release from the hooks. This controlled release is intended to help reduce the risk of damage to the tarp during excessive tension, sudden gusts or incorrect setup.

Reattaching the line or loop is simple: lift the flap on top of the hook, place the end of the line into the gap between the flap and the hook body, and close the flap again.

For best results, use the supplied tensioning solutions correctly and avoid overtensioning the tarp.
