Frequently Asked Questions
What types of injuries is the kit intended for?
It provides basic supplies for minor cuts, grazes and small wounds. It is not equipped for severe bleeding, fractures, burns or other major emergencies.
Is the pouch waterproof?
The fabric is PU-coated and water-repellent, but the complete zipped pouch is not specified as fully waterproof. Protect the contents from prolonged rain or immersion.
Can it be attached to a belt?
Yes. The rear Hypalon loop supports either vertical or horizontal belt attachment.
Does removing a tick prevent Lyme disease?
Prompt, correct removal can reduce transmission risk, but it cannot guarantee that infection will not occur. Monitor the bite area and general health afterwards.
When should the contents be replaced?
Replace an item after use and whenever it is expired, contaminated, wet or has damaged packaging. Inspect the complete kit before every trip.
