Cold Steel FGX Jungle Dart 92FJD

The Cold Steel FGX Jungle Dart is an ultra-lightweight pointed tool from the Cold Steel Nightshade™ series. It is manufactured without a conventional steel blade, using fibre-reinforced Griv-Ex™ for the blade body and deeply textured Kray-Ex™ for the handle.

With an overall length of approximately 20.6 cm and a weight of only approximately 20 g, the FGX Jungle Dart is exceptionally light and resistant to moisture, corrosion and changing environmental conditions.

Despite its synthetic construction, this is not a harmless training replica or toy. Its rigid pointed profile can cause serious injury and it must be handled, transported and stored responsibly.

Cold Steel Nightshade™ Series

The Nightshade™ series includes lightweight synthetic reproductions of selected Cold Steel designs as well as original polymer tools. These products are designed around durable fibre-reinforced materials rather than conventional steel blades.

The FGX Jungle Dart combines a narrow pointed profile with an extremely low overall weight and compact dimensions.

Griv-Ex™ Construction

The body is made from Griv-Ex™, a fibreglass-reinforced thermoplastic developed for strength, rigidity and resistance to environmental exposure.

The material is UV- and heat-stabilised and does not rust. It is also resistant to moisture and normal changes in outdoor temperature.

Although the product does not have a steel blade, the rigid point and edges remain capable of causing injury. Synthetic construction must not be interpreted as making the product safe for careless handling.

Kray-Ex™ Handle

The approximately 11.1 cm handle is covered with deeply textured Kray-Ex™ moulded directly onto the tang section.

Kray-Ex™ provides a slightly tacky, high-friction gripping surface that remains functional in wet, cold or hot conditions. It does not absorb moisture and requires minimal maintenance.

Compact and Lightweight Format

At approximately 20 g, the FGX Jungle Dart is exceptionally light. Its compact format makes it easy to store or transport discreetly where lawful.

The product should not be carried loose in a pocket, bag or compartment where the point may contact the user or damage other objects. An appropriate protective cover is recommended.
