Its 150 mm blade is made from N690Co steel, hardened to approximately 58–60 HRC and protected by a black Idroglider coating. With a blade thickness of 6 mm, the Dino Tracker is designed as a solid and intuitive tool for woodworking, camp preparation and demanding outdoor tasks.

Field-Developed Bushcraft Design

The Dino Tracker was developed as a modern bushcraft tool for users who need a strong, straightforward knife for working with wood and carrying out practical outdoor tasks.

Its design is influenced by parang-type tools, which traditionally combine cutting power with an intuitive forward-oriented working profile. The Dino Tracker translates this approach into a compact fixed-blade format suitable for bushcraft, camp and wilderness use.

N690Co Blade Steel

The blade is manufactured from N690Co and hardened to approximately 58–60 HRC. This hardness range is intended to provide a practical balance between edge retention, cutting performance and resistance to deformation during appropriate use.

Even corrosion-resistant blade steels require maintenance. Moisture, dirt, plant residue, food acids and prolonged storage inside a damp sheath may cause staining or corrosion if the blade is not cleaned and dried.

Black Idroglider Coating

The blade has a black Idroglider coating that gives the knife a subdued, non-reflective appearance and provides an additional surface layer over the steel.

Blade coatings are subject to normal wear. Scratches, polishing and visible marks may develop through cutting, sharpening and contact with abrasive materials. Such cosmetic wear does not necessarily indicate a structural defect.

Heavy-Duty 6 mm Blade

The blade is approximately 6 mm thick, giving the Dino Tracker a notably substantial construction for demanding bushcraft and woodworking tasks.

The thick blade should not be treated as an indestructible pry bar. Excessive lateral force, twisting, impact against hard materials or improper batoning can damage the edge, coating or blade.
