BALLISTOL Suppressor Cleaner + Soot Remover is a self-cleaning, odourless and acid-free cleaner for firearm suppressors. It is designed to automatically dissolve and neutralise combustion residues without the need for intensive mechanical cleaning.

The formula contains surfactants and rust protection additives. It is gentle on materials, acid-free and odourless, making it suitable for regular suppressor maintenance when used according to the instructions. A colour change acts as a dissolving indicator during the cleaning process.

The cleaner can be used by filling the suppressor, immersing the suppressor, or treating dismountable suppressor parts separately. For heavily fouled suppressors, longer contact time and gentle warming of the cleaner can improve cleaning performance.

How to Use

1. Ensure the firearm and suppressor are safe, cool and unloaded before cleaning.
2. Remove the suppressor from the firearm according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Check the suppressor surface, coating and paintwork for compatibility before use.
4. Close the suppressor on one side.
5. Fill the suppressor completely with BALLISTOL Suppressor Cleaner.
6. Leave the cleaner in the suppressor for at least 2 hours.
7. For suppressors with particularly heavy firing residue, heat the cleaner to approximately 40°C and extend the contact time to at least 4 hours.
8. Remove the cleaner after the reaction time.
9. To remove remaining dirt, fill the suppressor half full with clean water.
10. Close the second opening and shake vigorously.
11. Repeat the rinsing process if necessary until the water no longer contains soot particles.
12. Dry the suppressor thoroughly after cleaning and rinsing.
13. Maintain and reassemble the suppressor according to the suppressor manufacturer’s instructions.

Alternative Cleaning Methods

If the suppressor cannot be closed due to its design, it can be completely immersed in the cleaner. This allows the cleaning fluid to reach the internal surfaces without sealing the suppressor.

For dismountable suppressors, insert the soiled parts into the cleaner and allow the reaction time to take effect. After the reaction time, clean the parts with a brush and water if necessary.
